HK5: Day Six

Both teams are asked to create enhanced versions of the favorite foods of a boy who is having his bar mitzvah at Hell’s Kitchen. The winning team is sent off for a day of spa relaxation, while the losing team is forced to spend the day decorating the dining room with a party planner seen on the program in the past. The planner and Jean Philippe come into conflict as J-P becomes increasingly frustrated with the planner’s interfering behavior. A feud erupts between two chefs on the Red Team, creating tension that begins at the challenge and continues throughout the next day’s service. Though the teams continue to have their difficulties, both give their best service yet. When it comes to the day’s elimination, some chefs pull a risky move that ends up backfiring for one chef.
