HK5: Day Three
The 14 remaining chefs are sent out to a meat locker to learn about various cuts of meat. Upon returning to Hell’s Kitchen, they participate in a challenge requiring them to both identifying various cuts of meat and where they come from on a cow. The winning team is sent off by private jet for a wine-tasting, while the losing team is forced to butcher meat for use the next day. The teams take part in a two-part steakhouse dinner service that requires them to both take a turn waiting in the dining room and cooking in the kitchen. One chef’s overall poor performance at both waiting and in the kitchen gets that contestant sent home.
